This workshop will cover:

1. Canva Interface:
   • Familiarity with the Canva platform and tools.
   • How to navigate the interface, including the main dashboard, templates, and design options.
   • How to use various design features such as text, images, shapes, and elements.
   • Understanding of how to organize your designs and collaborate with others on Canva.
2. Design with Canva:
   • Creating designs from scratch or using templates.
   • Techniques for customizing templates, including colors, fonts, and layouts.
   • Designing for different media types (social media posts, posters, flyers, infographics, etc.).
   • Best practices for using Canva’s design elements like images, icons, grids, and other visuals.
3. Presentations:
   • How to create visually appealing presentations with Canva.
   • Using templates and designing slides that enhance storytelling and communication.
   • Adding animations, transitions, and other interactive elements.
   • Best practices for creating clear, effective presentations with graphics and visuals.
4. Artificial Intelligence:
   • How AI tools can be integrated with Canva for design optimization.
   • Use of AI for automatic suggestions, image editing, or layout generation.
   • Incorporating AI-driven design elements, like auto-generated designs or content suggestions.
   • Exploring Canva’s AI features to improve creativity, such as background remover or design resizing.

Who can apply?

• This workshop is exclusively for female students and scholars from Afghanistan.
• Scholars in STEM members
• Preference will be given to those currently residing in Afghanistan.
• Membership is free for everyone.
• Please note that this workshop will be conducted in English language.
• All applicants must be at least 18 years old.

• After completing your registration, you will receive a Zoom link to join the workshop via email.

A certificate of participation will be given to all successful participants.
